The LUXEON CoB Compact range, from Lumileds, is a family of chip-on-board (CoB) white LEDs designed for directional lamps and spotlights. Available in a range of different colour temperatures, these LEDs are ideal for use in the home, hospitality and retail.
The LUXEON CoB Compact LEDs have a very small light emitting surface (LES) of just 6.5mm which offers a uniform light output. They also have a strong Centre Beam Candle Power (CBCP) enabling a crisp beam of light and high intensity light output, making them ideal for spotlight applications. The LUXEON CoB Compact LEDs are available in 3-step (80CRI and 90CRI) MacAdam ellipse. They are also hot-tested in real-world operating conditions which allow the user to simplify luminaire design as less testing is required.
